Author Credit Policy
Authorship should reflect substantial intellectual participation in the research and manuscript. Appropriate contributions may include study conception or design, data acquisition, analysis or interpretation, drafting or substantive revision, approval of the final version and accountability for the integrity of the work.
Individuals who provide assistance that does not meet authorship criteria may be recognized in the acknowledgements, with appropriate permission.
One author should serve as corresponding author and must be authorized by all co-authors to manage submission and publication communications.
AHSS supports transparent contributor information and recognizes the value of ORCID and the CRediT taxonomy. Authorship disputes should be raised with the editorial office and may require institutional clarification.
