Those who may not have had jobs before the divorce are likely to get one. The current study is an effort to explore the socio-economic problems faced by divorce women. Sampling for the study was done purposively whereby a total of 15 divorced women. Information from the respondents was collected through an interview guide and is analysed thematically. The findings of the study show that divorced women are confronted with many socio-economic problems. In addition, divorced women face many problems while educating their children, for instance, lack of aspiration, lack of economic support, transport problems, frequent residential moves, and lack of adjustment.
